The Qualitative Case-study Pillar

WP3 provides qualitative case studies analysis according to the Italian municipalities' degree and types of vulnerability and resilience. According to the ESPIVaR Index on the different risks, different clusters of municipalities have been singled out. Then a set of interviews has been conducted covering municipalities in each cluster.

Scientific Outputs

1) Set of in-depth interviews in Italian municipalities belonging to different ESPIVaR clusters. Around 100 interviews with local administrators (Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Municipal Aldermen/women) and municipal High Civil Servants have been conducted.

2) Scientific article based on the qualitative data - to be planned
